Since 1978, EDF Incorporated has assembled the finest teams of engineers, technicians, project and construction managers, and data and controls experts in the Aerospace propulsion test industry.

Our Company

We began by servicing Pratt & Whitney and other UTC divisions in 1978.

We are bonded, licensed and insured with principal offices in Riviera Beach, Florida.

Many years of low cost competition within UTC have developed EDF's competitive rates.

EDF is a small company whose success can be attributed primarily to integrity, honesty, knowledge, close communication, hard work, and a history of return customers.

We are registered with the US Department of State, comply with all ITAR regulations and apply for Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA) for military applications as needed.

Our People

We have over 30 full-time employees and over 40 independent contractors on call. We invest heavily in our employees and contractors to achieve maximum efficiency -- from hiring and training to managing and equipping.

The EDF family is made up of many long-term (10–20 year) employees and numerous additional expert resources. We provide our employees with multiple incentive programs, great benefits, team-building experiences and have an extremely low turnover rate. We find, keep, and cultivate talent.

The EDF hiring process includes interviewing prospects using highly experienced staff, administering applicable tests and simulating circumstantial interaction. This approach accurately identifies qualified individuals for the challenging technical requirements they will be exposed to.

Quality and Methodology

We have developed many time-saving tools and techniques for a variety of disciplines. We focus on fostering great partnerships to accomplish projects more efficiently while maintaining very low overhead.

We have developed EDF LaborWorks™, a secure, web-based project management system that automates numerous tasks in order to reduce overhead and drastically improve quality and service.

Our quality system is based on Pratt & Whitney's ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) Program. Other internal quality systems and controls include:

  • Market Feedback Analysis
  • 6S (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety)
  • Turn-backs identify the root cause(s) of process problems
